In an MC, Ayacho ordered everyone to put their arms around each others’ shoulders during “Tomo yo.” And not only just for the final concert — she specifically said that she wants everyone to do it during “Tomo yo” every time they perform it. She said that if you ask the person next to you if it’s okay to put your arm around them and they say no, it’s okay to tell them that “it’s an order from Ayacho.“

I felt like I’d gotten over it. I even found a new non-Berryz member to care about and everything. I felt like I was fine, so I started watching the Budokan concert but I just couldn’t and I turned it off right away. I can tell that even though I’m fine for the most part, I still have them hidden deep in my heart and it’ll take years before I can truly get over them.

One of the supporting pillars of early Hello! Project: Takahashi Yuichi. He has worked on a great number of noteworthy songs, including Matsuura Aya’s “Momoiro Kataomoi.” What does he find important when it comes to the craft of music arrangement…?

— You began your career by releasing two solo albums, and then you also composed and arranged songs for other artists, right?

Takahashi: To be accurate: at the time, the arranging I was doing for other artists only extended to the songs I’d already given to Moritaka Chisato — the composition and arrangement went hand in hand. For artists other than her, I only contributed the melodies.

— What are your thoughts regarding your own solo career?

Takahashi: Well, I love singing, but it’s not that I have much technique in regards to it, and I was like, “I’ll just try to make my singing sound really atmospheric.” I couldn’t do anything special with my voice. So even back then, working as a singer-songwriter, I felt unsure of my singing and I thought I might be better suited for creating sounds and arrangements. That’s when I started becoming interested in that aspect of music.

≪Rules of the “Shiver Game”≫
Once you get into the booth, the member will randomly draw a paper from a box, containing the letters she will write on your back. There will be two levels of difficulty: “difficulty A” which will be two hiragana characters, or “difficulty B” which will be two kanji characters. Once the level of difficulty is determined, you turn around and the game begins. Once the staff gives the signal, the member will draw the characters on your back several times within a time span of 30 seconds.

Once the time is up, please write the characters that were drawn on your back on an answer sheet within 10 seconds. Once you’re done, we will compare your answer to the question sheet. If you get the answer right, you win! You will receive a prize. If your answer is incorrect, you will still receive a consolation prize.

Some people may experience cold shivers when their backs are touched, so please enjoy this “game of shivers.”

※ There will be eight separate booths for the members of ANGERME. Their events will run concurrently.
※ The “event participation ticket” and “member designation ticket” will be given to you along with the product.
※ The members will use a handheld rod to draw on your back.
※ Please understand that when you’re facing away from the member, you will not be able to see her face.
※ You may not choose between difficulty A and B. It will be a matter of luck.
※ Please refrain from talking about subjects unrelated to the game.
※ You will not be able to shake hands or have any other form of physical touching with the member.
