Fukumura: My first time meeting with a senior happened unexpectedly. I was part of a training group called the Hello! Pro Egg and it was my first time visiting this particular studio so I didn’t know my way around. I was wandering about in the building all by myself, and it was… which floor was it? I think I was headed for the basement floor, but I had no idea how to get there. Then, out of the blue, Kamei Eri-san tapped on my shoulder from behind and she was like “come on, it’s this way.” That was my first time meeting with an H!P member. (laughs) I was so nervous, but her kindness made me fall for her.

Kanazawa: That’d make anyone fall for her!

Ozeki: “For some reason, our Kanatomo continues to be very obstinate despite our fervent wishes. On another network’s radio show, she declared that this would continue to be the case in 2018 as well. It appears that her tyrannical ways towards her fans are showing no signs of stopping.” Furthermore, the listener has written something pretty amazing here! It says: “Kanatomo’s fans = servants.”
Kanazawa: I don’t think that way about my fans! (laughs) But I really don’t want to have my swimsuit pictures taken. It’s embarrassing. And… well, if you really want to know why I don’t like swimsuits, it’s because I don’t want anyone to see my belly button.
Fukumura: Cute… So cute…
Kanazawa: Don’t you just feel embarrassed about your belly button?
Nakanishi: Why don’t you just stick like an eraser in there or something?
Kanazawa: It not the only thing I don’t like about them. Of course I also don’t like how revealing swimsuits are. But even when I’m wearing our usual outfits or my own clothes, I’m always protecting my belly button so I pull my pants up really high — to the point that they’re pretty much eating into my butt!
Fukumura: You didn’t have to word it like that…
Kanazawa: Sorry. But I just can’t relax if my shirt doesn’t cover my stomach. So I pull my pants all the way up.
Ozeki: Hahahaha.
Fukumura: That’s very specific.
Kanazawa: I’m sorry… The other members are always asking me about it. “Why do you pull your pants up so high?!”
Everyone: (laughs)
Kanazawa: In other words, my crotch is–
Ozeki: Let’s change subjects!!!
Kanazawa: Hiding one’s belly button when wearing a swimsuit isn’t really possible. You have a pretty belly button, Fukumura-san. That’s why you don’t have a problem showing yours.
Fukumura: I don’t even get a say in it! It’s like in my case I don’t have the right to decline swimsuits! But I was really happy to see you wearing one in your drama, Budokan. I’m sure your “servants” must be eagerly waiting to see more of you in a swimsuit. Don’t you think?
Kanazawa: Well, maybe a high-waist one…
Nakanishi: Just get your belly button pictured already!
Kanazawa: I got my diving license some time ago. I could do a photo shoot in a wetsuit…
Fukumura: You could start there and keep gradually revealing more.

The other day, I brought everyone at the rehearsal lunchboxes I’d made myself. When I did, Tamano-san, our director, said: “That’s so nice of you, Risa-san! You’ll make for a good wife!“

All kinds of thoughts were running through my head, but I simply gave him a little laugh and said “thank you. 💕” (laughs)

How do I get them to remain beautiful, blooming forever? As it stands, they might as well get it over with and shed all their flowers right now.

Something surprising happened to me today! I was approached by a foreign person at the train station platform! I mean, that in itself probably isn’t that surprising, but… Afterwards, we ended up talking all the way until the station we both got off at! I was so surprised! Has this kind of thing happened to any of you!? I thought, “maybe they just want to practice their Japanese?” and so I kept talking to them! Their Japanese was really good though, so it made me think that they must love Japan. That made me glad. […]

When we were talking about our favorite foods and I told them I like Japanese food, they told me about a restaurant where you can get delicious fish foods, and about another famous restaurant where you can get delicious pizza… They were great! ✨ It was them that told me about those places — not the other way around!

And… Actually… They also kept telling me that I’m cute~. Ahaha. 🤣🤣 I think it was mostly just lip service on their part, but even so! It made me happy!
