8/8 Date / Ozeki Mai

We’d been planning on going to the movies just by the two of us since before the Nakano Hello Con shows. So we went to see “Kimi no Suizou wo Tabetai“!!! We held hands the entire time we were heading to the movie theater. But then out of nowhere one of my dad’s acquaintances showed up, and when he did, my dad immediately let go of my hand. Oh, dad… Feeling all shy like that…
And then, just when the movie ended and we were leaving, suddenly I heard someone going “Ozeki-chan!!!” When I turned to look, it was Uemura Akari-san!!!! I was so surprised!!! (laughs) What are the odds?! (laughs) Uemura-san was just as cute in private, too. But really, how unlikely is it that we’d both be at the same movie theater, watching the same film at the same time?!
Meeting my dad’s acquaintance, meeting Uemura-san… What a day! (laughs)

Hehe. No no, Jordan Peterson is a great antidote for that kind of thing — especially if one finds themselves in the unfortunate position of personally being the one saying that stuff. That man (along with threads like this) is what keeps me sane.
