Sato: I’m now going to play you a song by aiko. I listen to her music quite a lot, and my image of her is that she plays all her melodies on instruments and sings only the harmony parts. I mean, she sings the parts that we would think of as harmony parts. That makes her songs really interesting and different from other singers. There’s this freshness to her music. I love her. I’m now going to play you a song from her that was released in 1999, the year I was born. This is aiko’s “Kabutomushi.”
