I just feel disgusted when I think about the fact that these shoddy music videos from the past few years will remain in history forever as the official videos for these songs.

Even just shooting on-location somewhere already makes the videos feel a lot less cheap. It really is too bad that they mostly just film at bland-looking studios.

Them not spending money on the music videos is nothing new. But ever since they pointlessly decided to make every single a triple A-side, that means each music video has even less of a budget, guaranteeing us even blander music videos. I just feel like they should focus their money on making one music video per single, and making it well.

It’s now been over a month since I started studying abroad! I still can’t speak English at all. (^^) I try to strike up conversations at restaurants or when I’m buying ice cream or stuff, but I’ve gotten into the bad habit of getting through those conversations by just smiling a lot. (laughs)

Still, I’m so glad I decided to come study abroad. (^^) I’ve made friends with lots of people I would’ve otherwise never met in Japan, and I have the support of so many people here! So that’s why I’ll definitely become able to speak English!!! To start off, I have to start by cutting back on using gestures so much. (laughs)

I have school tomorrow so I’m going to go sleep now!

Well, it depends on the arranger. But as a general rule, the composer comes up with the melodies and everything else is the arranger’s responsibility.

Well, you know how a song can sound completely different if you play it on a piano versus if you play it on a guitar? What the arranger does is take the melody created by the composer, figure out the mood the song needs to have, and choose the most fitting instruments to make it happen.
