For idol songs that everyone loves even abroad, is One Two Three the only one?

That’s true about the song being loved globally. Even now those foreign fans are dancing it on YouTube and stuff.

It’s true that of recent H!P, 123 is the most danced song abroad. The overall number one is Massara though. By the way, if we define “odottemita” as “dancing inside with a fixed camera without singing“, the number one most danced Japanese songs are Massara and Sexy Boy.

Calling it an “undisputed masterpiece” is a bit too much, but there’s no mistaking that aside from minor complaints it’s a great song.

Kpop vs. Jpop Dance Panel at Otakon 2012
Lately 123 has become this global representative song of Japan. It’s like everyone there knows Kyary Pamyu Pamyu’s CANDY CANDY and Momusu’s 123. The influence of Dentsu overseas is weak so AKB isn’t as popular because it’s a battle of their true strengths.

Yeah. Momusu spreads only through word of mouth outside of Japan, and AKB’s promoting more than them even abroad.

Foreign fans are greatly influenced by Japanese TV, too, so I wonder why it is that Momusu is popular amongst them when they don’t appear on TV at all. The 123 effect?

They could’ve aimed at the number one spot on Billboard with 123. It’s just impossible now in this Dentsu-controlled Japan. Bring on the Musume overseas advancement.

The government should help Musume with promotion. No one would complain if they used tax money on Musume.
Henkka: Always fun to hear the Japanese fans’ views on us foreigners, even if I’m not the biggest fan of the song personally.

It’s simply a song that makes Momusu bounce back from the edge of uncertainty
