Talent Satoda Mai (29) updated her blog on the 8th with a post in which she asserted that she is still a member of Country Musume.
Country Musume was originally formed in 1999 as a three-member female idol group. Satoda became a member in 2002. They have five ex-members.
She wrote: “Did you know? I’m still a member of Country Musume.” and expressed her surprise: “The other day I was surprised to see a magazine where it said “Country Musume OG Satoda Mai.”” She continued: “I’m an OG? But I was so sure I never graduated from the group. I’m pretty certain I’m still a member of Country Musume.“
Her profile on the website of Up-Front Group, the agency she is a member of, lists her as “Satoda Mai (Country Musume)”.
