Even after returning home six months ago, I still felt like I wanted to keep studying English. But in order to live overseas comfortably I also felt that I’d need a driver’s license, and so I came back to Japan!
And, somehow or another…!!!
I…!!!
Managed to get my license!!!!
Not to say that I didn’t fail the first time trying though. (laughs)Through studying English, I’ve come to realize that there really is no end goal when it comes to language learning. That’s why I simply wish to keep learning until I’m satisfied! ^ ^ To think that someone like me could ever be so willing to study…!
Now that I have my driver’s license, I’m going to head out to study abroad once more. ^ ^ I hope to meet lots more people and have many more experiences so that I’ll be able to grow even further!
Ah!
But I do hope that I don’t grow any more in terms of body weight!

Exchange students can’t get driver’s licenses in NZ? I bet it’d be way better to get one over there rather than at the rip-off driving schools of Japan.

It’s apparently the written parts of the exams that make it difficult for getting a driver’s license overseas. Although that would of course depend on the student’s language ability.

I got my driver’s license in the state of California, USA. They allowed me to bring an English-Japanese dictionary so it was no problem at all for me.

Nothing wrong with studying English, but I do wonder if she’s given though as to how she’s actually going to put those skills to use? Even with Mitsui, it doesn’t seem like she’s doing anything but giving out random English statements regarding H!P… Even if you learn something, you’ll quickly forget it unless you put it to use. I hope she’ll find a way to put those skills to work somehow.

Phew, I’m relieved she wants to go back New Zealand after six months to study more English, for a second there I thought she wanted to get back to her boyfriend.
Chinami got her driver’s license? THIS is the big news (I mean, we know her, she’s adorable, but how could she possibly manage without killing a cat, or a deer, or a granny?).
Speaking of how, how exactly is Makoto’s TOEIC sheet available online? Did she post it herself, or are the wotas getting scarily creepier? Really hope it’s the former.
