Wota in Translation

(TL note: As you may know, Shouji Tomoharu is Miki’s husband and his blog entry below is an about episode that happened at her recent 10th anniversary concert.)

When I arrived at my seat and sat down, for some reason everyone inside the venue started cheering my name. At that moment I couldn’t do anything except bow my head, but to be honest I was so moved that I was getting goosebumps all over my body.

I really felt how easygoing and loving H!P fans are. The atmosphere in the venue felt so strange as everyone was calling my name only minutes before Mikitty’s concert, but the moment that she appeared on stage, everyone became one and got completely fired up.

I couldn’t believe it. Mikitty the idol was once again standing on stage, and the fans were all cheering her on.

It was touching. It was seriously touching.

When the news came out, I was thinking “die you idiot comedian.” But he properly married her, they have a child and he’s even actively helping her with childcare, so I changed my opinion about him. Besides, Mikitty herself seems happy with him.

At the end of the day, if it was something careless like a mixer or something that led to a shotgun wedding, that’s the kind of thing that’d make you angry. But they took their time dating for a while and got properly married before taking things from there, so there’s nothing anyone can really say to object to that.
